Farm walks
Our First farm walks of the year will be taking place on 23 May as part of
Nature Friendly Farming Week 2026.
There will be two guided tours during the day, lead by Debbie Wilkins.
Tour number one will take place at a our species-rich floodplain meadows close to Coombe Hill nature reserve where you will learn how the farm manages flooding while producing food.
Tour number two will be start at our main farm yard at Norton Court Farm where you will walk the pastures that our dairy cows graze and learn about our nature friendly management of the land and hedgerows. Debbie will also talk about her plans for a slurry free dairy and show the work so far with Royal Agricultural College and Reading University.
Both walks will be suitable for all ages - some of the ground will be uneven we will endeavour to make the route as easy as possible. To book a free place please click the eventbrite link below.
